A former principal at AIA National firm of the year – BNIM Architects – McLennan has been involved in the design and construction of many of the most innovative green projects to be found anywhere on the planet. Jason has practiced in 20 US states and just about all climate zones on the continent, with buildings ranging from several hundred thousand square feet to small structures less than a thousand. He has experience in all sectors of the building industry including commercial, institutional, civic, multi-family housing, laboratories, industrial and single family residential as well as planning. He has been a key contributor to projects that have received local, state and national AIA Honor and Merit awards as well as LEED Platinum, Gold and Silver designations from the US Green Building Council. McLennan is currently working on several community-scale master plans tied to the Living Building Challenge.

Jason is only available for highly selective commissions willing to pursue net zero energy or living building status on a case-by-case basis.
